I don't know...It might work...the sensors are different for the cam...but it gives the same signal to the pcm I believe. So, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.
its been done a few times... gives a higer rev limit, 7200 vrs the stock 6750 on the sohc which is kinda nice... deff a worth while mod if you race or have other mods done... its a poor mans way to get a higher rev limit with out spending big bucks on an aftermarket ecu... although the best way to go is with an aftermarket ecu... this is just a step better then stock...
yes it will make you run rich but of you have a fair amount of mods its probably a good thing to have a bit more fuel anyway which is probably another reason why people notice an increase in power when the swap to the dohc pcm....
does the mopar pcm allow the engine to rev higher than stock? i can currently rev the engine to 7500rpms with no problems at all.....is that ok for the engine? (no i dont red line the engine daily)
