Default Camshaft Sensor

Hello fellows, iunno how the camshaft sensor works 1g neon!, i want to know that... and the function of each cable... thanks! 1g neon!

you got 3 wires...power, signal, ground. the cam shaft has 4 magnets on it and the sensor has 4. every time the magnets line up, it sends a signal to the pcm telling it that it's in a certain position. working with the crank position sensor, it tells the pcm when to inject fuel and when to fire the spark plugs.

ummm...i would think 12 VDC cause that's what the car runs on.

well iunno much, but i dont think that, its so much for a sensor! if u know anything else please tell me thank!
