you could probably make whatever color you want if you can find pieces of vinyl big enough

How to put racing stripes on you car or truck

Stuff needed:
Rubbing alcohol
Vinyl- available at your local sign shop
Spray bottle with water and a few drops of soap
Rubber squeegee
Pen
Ruler

1) Measure and cut vinyl to the sizes needed
2) Clean area where the strips are going to go with rubbing alcohol.
3) Measure and mark where you want the stripes to go.
4) Spray area where vinyl is going to go with water/soap mix.
5) Peel and spray vinyl with water/soap mix.
6) Lightly lay the vinyl adhesive side down and carefully position. Vinyl should be able to be moved around, if not carefully peel up and spray with more water/soap mix.
7) Once you have the vinyl positioned correctly spray the top with the water/soap mix and gently work the air bubbles out from the center to the edges.
8) Enjoy!!

I got racing stripes on my 98 r/t. They're factory vinals and they've lasted a while. But they are started to peal in a few places. If I were you I'd do what I'm going to do eventually, just get them painted on. They will last longer and look better

I agree I am planning on doing a nice paint job on my 98 this spring or summer. But if your paint is fine and you want to add some stripes, vinyl is the way to go.
