Default 96 Neon stalls after running

I've got a 96 Neon and it will run for around 2-3 miles, or 15 minutes and then stop running, and will not start again after it stalls unless we(Father and I) wait awhile. If we starting fluid into the air cleaner it runs briefly, but stalls shortly after. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Default Stalls after 15 minutes

Same thing happened on my '98 and it was the crankshaft position sensor. Will she code out (key dance), do it right after she stalls, in my case it would not code out with a cold engine.

Does it have fuel pressure? in the center of the fuel rail is a place to put a gauge. You can push down on the pin w/ a screwdriver or something small and see if it has pressure? If so, check for spark...make sure the spark plugs arn't fowled out and make sure the coil pack is firing. Air, fuel, compression, and spark makes the motor run...figure out which one you don't have and you can find your problem.

We just checked the pressure, it was showing 50 PSI.. Is that low? And we've already replaced the coil pack.

check to make sure you have good signals from your sensors. it sounds like the auto shutdown relay. in my case, it ended up being a bad ground on my MSD ignition adapter, which gave it a weak signal from, i think, the crank position sensor.

Definitely sounds like a bad crank sensor...pretty common problem for most Neons.
