even if the stock regulator limits you to 49 psi... you could always upgrade to the 58 psi regulator from modern... it replaces the stock regulator in the stock location... that would help out if you intend on using the stock injectors... that along with a good fuel pump like the 255lph walbro kit also from modern and the rrfpr and map clamp you should be sitting pretty to run 8psi
