I was rippen up some tread in the turbo neon and my car floored itself and stayed there. I killed the engine and found the cam on the throttle body broke. Its the modern performance 60mm. Any input on this? Fixable? Warranty? Why did this happen?

 

I've had the hose clamp at the throttle body hold the throttle open...the screw part was too close to the cam and when i opened it up, the cam slid past the clamp but wouldn't return.

 

How the peanut???
