Tune ups, tire pressure, engine flush, coasting down hills, clean intake manifolds, and the variety of other methods that help keep mpg's up.

well that and some other things i got planned... i'm planning on swaping to a sohc tranny for the higher final drive ratio to drop the rpms down at highway speeds... also planning for an underdrive pulley... and deff an intake and a header... also possibly a few other things to get make the motor run more effiecently... going to try to get as close to 50mpg as i can with out driving like a jackass... so normal "lite footed" driving... driving the speed limit not slower.... so making it get as close to a usefull 50mpg... cause really whats the point of getting 50mpg if you gotta drive slower then hell and **** everybody off....

I have a '98 Expresso with DOHC,5 speed, home made CAI,under drive pulley and MOPAR PCM and at 70 MPH-75 MPH I get 38 MPG to 40 MPG consistently.

well i can either take the main roads and have it take 25mins to get to work or i can take the back roads and have it take 45 mins.... so my choice is driving the speedlimit and not pissing people off... besides the fact that driving the back roads adds about 10 miles to the drive... and countless more stop signs and what else which all hurts fuel milage... well the added miles don't but whats the point to driving the roads if i'm only getting a few mpg better when i'm adding more miles to my route.... don't make sense... like i said i'm going for a usefull 50mpg driving back and forth to work... which about 5-6miles is city driving and then about 10miles at 55mph and then about 5miles at 65.... so a lil bit of everything....
