Exclamation 96 plymouth neon sohc atx

i have a 96 plymouth neon sohc atx and when i go to take off i can put my foot right to the floor and the car bogs down all the way through first gear then it picks up real quick in 2nd anyone know why it does that i cant even spin the tires taken off like i could in my other car which was a 95 plymouth neon sohc atx it has a brand new air filter,fuel filter,accel wires (yellow),then denso platinum tt plugs so it had a good tune up but it still isnt doin any better i put fuel injector cleaner in there about 5 tanks ago but no luck so anyone know why it bogs down and takes so long to take off i know they arent the fastest car but my other one seem to take off faster then this any help would be great thanks

95 neons had a bigger camshaft so maybe thats the differance?

thats what i thought but i seen other neons around the same year that dont bog down so i dont know if the car is getting enough oxygen to breathe cuz hoses were replaced on the valve cover with different ones cuz the others were dry rotted and i couldnt get the exact same hoses so idk lol..just annoying but there is no codes getting thrown so there is no CEL

well that shouldn't matter to much... maybe one of your sensors is acting up a bit... not enough to throw a code but enough to cause the car to run poorly... my buddy used to have a 96 sohc auto and it was the same way would bog and pretty slow...never did finde the problem with it either...

o0o well thanks anyway for trying to help me out i will eventually find the problem lol..prolly when i go to replace the headgasket its not gone but i would rather replace it then let it go and crack the block or have to send it out to get fixed after lol..

has the timing been done...if your timing is going off it could cause a bog down

i havent replaced that since i had it but i will replace it and let you guys know if that clears it up thanks
