Default motor swap

hey im havin some troubles with my motor it has a real bad knock and i have axess to a mitsubisi 2.0L i was just wondering if any 1 has heard of any 1 doin this or if it is even possible

if you really want it, anything is possible, your might have to improvise a little, but its doable. eventualy im going to have a motor in the front and one in the back...more power baby!!! 4 wheel drive dodge neon[sm=gears.gif] any one want to race?!!!

The 420A block from the non-turbo Eclipse/etc. is the same. The heads are different (reversed). Neon motors are cheap enough. Should be able to find one in good running condition for under $300.

i cant find a 2.0 for under $1000 but i have a mitsubishi motor for $400 unless any 1 can find me 1 must be DOHC

You are gonna need to swap the rods, pistons, head, from the mitsubishi motor. Plus having it machined is a good idea. You are better off getting a rear-ended neon cheap and swaping the motor.

Thats odd - I checked my my local junk yard just last week - they had 3 DOHC from 300 to 400 ea - depending on the milage on the engine
