Default Old fuel filter??

Whats the average change for these cause mine looked super old when I was under there 2 months ago and since I have poor mileage(oil leak, but still TOO poor) I was thinking of getting one from advanced, there only 9 bucks. If I replace it, anything to worry about/hard to do??

Default Fuel Filter

As the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump module and located in the tank, how did you check it out? Bottom line is there is no time frame for changing the filter.

Default Fuel Filter

OK, if you have a 1995 model then it does have the replaceable filter, 30,000 mile recommended change.

there are a few models that seem to have a filter same as the 95... my repair manual says only the 95s but most parts stores show the fuel filter up to the 99 model year... and its deff probably a good thing to change it... if it looks nasty on the outside then the inside is 100 times worse...

Mine has a "fuel Accumulator", that says "do not service". Theres two rubber lines going form the fuel pump into it.
