Iginiton Fuse blows! Tried everything!!!
Hey Everyone,
I have a 96 neon and it started blowing the #10 ignition fuse out of nowhere while driving. We replaced the starter, didn't help, we had the coils checked and they are fine as well. We let it sit for about a month and one day the darn thing started right up, I drove it for 3 days and then got stranded again. It was blowing fuses as soon as they we inserted, without the key in the ignition. We then replaced a ground cable that we found going bad, but that was not it. So we replaced the ignition switch, TADA, the car works again!!! I again drove it a few days, although never going far from home and it is again DEAD! It blew the ignition fuse AGAIN while driving. If anyone has ANY ideas I would LOVE to hear them.
