****y 420a overheating (junk)

overheating just got a new head gasket and water pump put on and still over heats new therma stat and radiator cap and still over heats i even wired the fan to a switch so its always on and it still over heats getting real sick of this piece of **** so please someone help me out here i just ran the battery to the trunk as well so idk what the problem it could it be a bad temp sensor? and would that throw a code all i have now is some emissions controller which is a dealer code so idk whats up just alittle pissed after all the money i spent to fix it

i dont think your lighting issue comes from the battery in the trunk cause thats where i have mine..and my lights are fine with a 15 L7 running 2000watts through the car..with only 1 cap
and its not a 420a even though the heads are reversed...its either called an ecc or ecb from what i remember one for a DOHC and a SOHC...

Never seen the point of moving weight off the front axle... but anyways what size wires did you use? I think you should add a large (0 or 2) ground from the firewall to the block, since you removed the main engine ground when you relocated your battery... Also, if your car is rusty, you might have some pretty poor grounding from the trunk to the engine compartment...

A 420A does not fit in a neon. The intake manifold is nearest the fire wall, and sits up too high for the hood to close. One could switch to a box manifold for turbo application, but not worth the work for n/a.
As far as the overheating; did you have the head checking for flatness, all head bolts properly torqued, no air bubbles in the coolant?
