Unhappy Battery relocation problems

Hey i did my battery relocation but ran into a big problem
everytime i start my car it sounds like the battery is going dead
it almost doesnt start up sometimes.
before i did the relocation i never had this problem, also
my radio keeps turning off an on when im driving, and had trouble
with the radio leds turnin on. Stange, radio came on but no lights
after awhile it came on.
Im using 17 feet of red 4gauge battery cable from fuse box to trunk
grounded same wire from battery terminal in trunk to right rear side strut location, then inside the engine bay i used half of the original ground cable an 4gauge speaker wire, attached to engine block an then to the radiator support original location.
then used original red wire from starter and just connected that to the fuse box , I attached both wires starter and positive trunk lead
to one of the 10mm screws on fuse box together on same bolt.

can you please tell me if this is wrong or right and also why my car is having these issues thank you bud...

you need much bigger wire... you need like 0 gauge wire for the main powerwire.. 4 gauge isn't near big enough for that long of a distance...

I had a 6 gauge and it worked fine, I just had to make a good ground for it. Right now I use 2 gauge and it works very well, almost seems like overkill.

in my old altima i had issues with the system draggin the lights down a lot.... was about to install a cap but decided to upgrade both the positive and negative battery cables to 0 gauge wires... and this is with the battery in the stock postition... well after upgrading the cables i no longer had a need to add a cap... helped out a lot.... its hard to say if it was actually true or not but the car seemed to idle smoother also but that was probably in my head.... i haven't decided what i'm going to do to my neon yet i deff want to install a CAI but the battery position is def holding me back but i'm not sure i really want the battery in my trunk... lol well i got time to figure that out i got a few other projects i'm gonna work on before i worry about installing a CAI...
