a bad battery on these car can cause a ton of very weird electrical issues... a new battery really isn't that expensive and if you don't know how old the one is in it its probably a very good idea to change it anyway...

ATTN: Car is perfect Thank You to every one on here. figured out the the problem with the charging system . it was a broken wire it was in half. car passed smog and charges at 13.98 when started.
