Default painting question

I wanted to paint the removable parts of the air vents.. But I was thinking when I run the heater will it get too hot for the spray paint.

Would this be too dangerous or is there another way I could color them? They are originally gray I want to spray paint them white.

Thanks

u can check on the back of the paint you get for coloring panels to see how hot it can withstand or you could even buy high temp paint.. but i really don't think it gets hot enough to melt any thing cuz the plastic vents would melt too..

I rattle canned mine with some krylon red and it can get a little warm but it dosent run, tho after the heaters been on and then off for a while they will want to stick just a little because the paint heats up but they still look great.

Krylon makes a good plastics paint, Fusion I believe, that should work fine.
