Default electrical problems

When i bought my neon, it had the "door ajar" sign on but I didn't care. Then after 2 years the right rear turn signal and the right rear stop signal failed to work. When I opened the light and checked the lamps, they seemed OK. Should I take it to an car electrician? Or should I try to fix it by myself.
Also, after these happened, the left speakers quit working properly. Sometimes when I shake the car they statrt working. They kind of go on and off. Should I try fixing these by myself? What do you think? Anyone had the same problem?
My moonroof is also not working properly. It just raises a lil bit but doesnt slide. I looked into it and saw that I couldnt fix it by myself, so I just left it alone. How much would a new one cost usually? How much would a fix cost?

wow thats a big problem... it could be alot of things ... you might have a short in your wiring harness or some thing along those lines.. and it could be the motor for ur sun roof is burned out or not connected properly.. i will definately cost alot to have some one fix it so maybe some one hear can help you fix it on your own. i don't know much about electrical so i can't help much.

Default RE: electrical problems & CD player

About the moonroof: I am sure the moonroof engine is ok, because it raises the moonroof a lil bit and lowers. It just does not open fully.
I forgot to mentiona another problem with my CD player: the voice dial does not work properly. I hardly control the voice level (it doesn't raise the volume up easily I just turn and turn...and all of a sudden it might lower the volume...)
Is it easy to take the CD player out? How can I do it?

well if u want drop in an aftermarket cd player..... its easy just pop the face plate off around it and there will be 2 screws holding it in.. take them out and unplug the wires... easy as that.. but then u need to install the new head unit so u need to know how to do that or just get bestbuy or some one to do it... buts its best to learn.

for the moonroof the track might be messed up causing it not to move fully. maybe check that.

Electrical problems are a PITA. Unless you know what you are doing, its gonna be hard. If you wanna try get a good multi-meter and trace the wires back checking continuity.
