if the cel flashes that means there is damage occuring to the cat....but ur car dosent have 1 does it? there must be a malfunction sumwhere for it to do that.

I'm starting to think it may be a PCM malfunction...potentially through the connection. its not "flashing" exactly. the CEL will just go on when the car bogs and then it will turn off. very odd. However, now the "running too lean" CEL is back and I didn't have any bogging issues tonight...

no suggestion is stupid...but yes i have checked them and they are in fine condition and rocked on

yeah i am not sure where to look other than the pcm it is possible for it to malfunction but very rarely have i seen it happen...other than that i am fathomed as far as opinions on where your problem could lie
