Default Small problem

This has been a new thing. I won't be able to talk to my dad until the end of the week so I'm asking you guys. My car is starting to rev up by itself. It started ever since I put this stuff in my gas tank. Totally forgot what it's called, I'll find out when I get home, I still have the can. It's supposed to clean out the engine totally. Anyways my car will stay at a certain RPM when I'm driving then it'll start to go down. When I come to a stop and put in the clutch it's like I'm still gasing it or when I'm shifting my RPM's won't go down they'll stay up. Also this started at the same time...when I put the heat on in my car there is a weird hissing noise from the passenger side, when I turn it off it goes away. I know this CAN be normal but it hasn't done it until recentally. Also when I'm at an idle my fans are constantslly going on and off also causing a little rev in my engine. You think that could be the temp. sensor, and could the other stuff be the Idle Air Control and if it is how do I fix it. Normally my dad is here and really it's me and my dad's car because he works I work on it with him because he teaches and shows me EVERYTHING. But he's not here now and it's bugging the crap out of me

2 ounces of Acetone per tank of gas works good for cleaning out stuck junk and improving gas mileage. It even made my check engine light go out.
[sm=rant.gif]Why is it that new members sign up and always bring a topic up that is a year old with some random idea that would work, but if the person has not gotten the problem fixed by now they have probally smashed their car to a 6" slab of metal with a sledge hammer?[sm=rant.gif]

I think that even if the original asker of the question isn't around to read the question, other people can still benefit from reading into what causes certain problems. Just because you're not having a problem with your car at the moment doesn't mean that you can't benefit from hearing some of the troubles that other people are having with their vehicles. I don't mind asking the odd dumb question or two for my own benefit as well as the benefit of other people on the boards. I think that it's great that new users can go through some old posts and provide some input. Would you rather that he not read any previous posts and asked a question that had been asked a million times before?

Welcome to the boards xavierarmadillo, it's great that you have read through a few old posts to see where you can help out as well as make sure you're not making a double post.
