ok so i have a 98 dohc with 200k miles iv had it sence 100k miles.
when i bought the car it burned about 1qt of oil every 1000 miles.
at 200k its still the same good right
. but here latley it has ben smoking a lil more than it has but only when it sits and idles for a bit. u go to rev it and a cloud of gray blueish smoke comes out but not wile driving or at a stop light. if im not mistaken thets most likely valve seals right?
one other thing every now and then out of the blue it will start to run like crap like its skiping a piston but only at idle. i drive it for about 10min or so and it goes away. im thinking it might be the coil going out but im not shur
ant ideas?

check your spark plugs for oil. Right now my #1 has bad expander rings/rings(rebuilt 5000 miles ago) and it leaks an easy 1qt per 100-150 miles. If its coming out of the exhaust it means its getting into the cylinder, which can cause it to run bad when oils inside the cylinder. Valve seals are a possibility, so if you can start there(an on-head valve spring compressor is needed) you might as well since its a lot easier. A haynes manual will take you through it.
I'd say first thing after checking your plugs is a compression test on all cylinders.
After running a few quarts of 20w-50 in the car, the thicker oil seems to definitely last longer.
Auto stores also have Oil Thickening agents for a few bucks which help against small internal leaks.
