Default Odd Problem??

The other day I was driving and my speedo and tac went for a crapper. My gas guage shot up so Im not ever too sure now how much gas I have. Today same problem except eventually the gas guage and the temp guage both drop and no longer function. Around the same time my fan for my air and heat stopped working too. Not too sure if theres a relationship between the two.....Before I start ripping my dash apart is there anything else I should look for?

Thumbs down

Ok so we resoldered the connectors and it did not work. So went out and bought a new instrament cluster. Installed and everything works but my speedometer. So what do I need to check for now? The fuse is great and there isn't a short going into it.

I guess you could check/replace your speedo gear.

umm my speedo what. Could you please be more specific. I have a husband that is auto challenged. I noticed if I hit the damn cluster it works for about two seconds. This cluster worked in the car we pulled it out of yesterday with no problems. So its not the thingy's we have to solder on the back. Just weird that it doesn't work
