Default tranny question

is it required to use the mopar atf? or can i use some **** from autozone?

I have always used syncromesh sold at autozone.Pennzoil

i would just use what is says which i beleve is mopar 3

you can use any tranny fluid that is ATF+3

any auto tranny fluid as long as its ATF 3 or ATF 4 i'd recommend the atf 4 seen as its updated and its a synthetic... deff worth the upgrade.... but for sure don't use just any auto transmission fluid... its the fastest way to kill your tranny....

thats a good question you never did say what tranny you had but seen as you were asking about atf I assumed you had an auto... but if manual you deff need to run syncromesh...

Any ATF+3 or +4 should work as long as it states it's compatible for Chrysler transmissions.

I run atf+3 in both the auto and the manual.
