dumb question

will neons run without o2 sensors? im told that the o2 sensor in mine could be bad so i was wondering if i just took it out would it run right? see i said it was a dumb question

it may run but it won't run right.... deff need to replace the sensor with a new one probably will help both performance and milage

the car will run fine without a downstream 02 sensor, but you do need an upstream

well my car do not have the o2 sensor! do not have the downstream and upstream!, and runs pretty good!!

or so u think. have u checked for ghost codes? have an a/f gauge or some other type of monitoring system?

yeah the downstream isn't needed its just there to check the function of the cat...
