Default passing gear

Hi, i have a 95 neon sport, and when i got this car it real didnt have any power to it, and i fount that out to be the my cable to me gas pedle was loose as hell. but now i am not shore on how to adjust this. Help please.

What do you mean by loose? it should not have any tension on it. I am assuming you have and auto. you kick down cable might me miss adjusted if you can't downshift by stepping on the gas. A little more information would help alot

well when i am on the high way i have no power even if i floor it it takes a while for it to gain speed, but now sence i booty rigged it it has a lot more power when i go to pass some one, but am wondering if there is a correct way to adjust it.

I would have the transmission service. they will adjust the bands, set the kickdown and do a fluid and filter change.
