Default Projector headlight question

This brand is Depo. There for a 95 Neon.

I am wondering is this headlight a real projector or is it fake? Why I'm asking is if I get an HID kit and install them in this headlight will it work properly? Also supposedly it says it uses seperate bulbs one for the high and one for the low so if I got an HID kit the Xenon bulb would only work for the high beams?

all projectors for the neon use a two bulb setup with the projector being for the low beam and the high beam just being a normal reflector type headlight... the depo headlights are a true projector... unlike the cheap ebay headlights the previous owner installed on my car but I installed a hid kit on the low beam bulbs and works great not near as nice as it would be on a set of depo lights but still pretty nice... and the hid kit will work with whatever bulbs you buy it for high beam or low beam... i suggest using it on the low beam as i got mine setup right now... but i'm pretty close to buying a kit for my highbeam side to cause right now my low beams are as bright as my high beams so i don't use the much not to mention with the low beam i have the factory driving lights on also... but yeah deff invest in a set of depo lights and an hid kit its really worth the money... just don't mount the balast box on the drivers side anywhere near the pcm.... long story short i learned that the hardway... if i turned my headlights on at idle car would die... moved the box to behind the headlight kinda between the fender and bumper which makes for a nice clean install cause you don't see anything looks factory and the balast box don't interfere with the pcm
