Default fried wires.

ok i swapped my tranny today and when i hook my battery up the wire that goes to the started thats inside the harness keeps moking and i dont know why. i traced the wire and it goes from the starter to the alternator. what in the hell would cause this?

man maybe a wire could be kinda bad somewhere, and touched the chasis, there its a possibility, try to fix the engine wiring, and chek out tough if the voltage regulator on the pcm its good!

i put in a new harness and it still does it i put in a new pcm and still does it if i leave that wire off the car starts but the alternator doesnt charge battery. is it possible for me to just wire it straight to the battery and skip the starter?
