Exclamation clock spring

could a bad clock pring be grounding out my gages and causing a misfire? just got done putting all new harness and ecu and that car ran for a day
someone please help
flash code 43 again also

I would more likely suspect that you have issues with your two grounding straps.

One is found underneath your Power Connection Module (PCM). and runs from the tranny to the car frame (right next to rubber mount for the tranny). It is just a bare flat wire with clamps on both ends. The PCM is the black box hanging off the back end of the battery box and has the big A$$ plug that connects to the PCM you just replaced.

The other looks the same as the first, but runs from a bolt just next to the hood hinge on the passenger side and runs underneath to the front side of the firewall.

Check those for being loose, corroded, etc. as they can easily cause what you are seeing.
