Yeah, I live about three hours away, but I never have the money or the tools to do anything here . i just brought basic tools, and not even a jack or stands lol

yeah me neither luckily a buddy of mine did. whta skewl you goin to? auto? im goin to UNOH in ohio for auto

automatic trans and manual trans...if thats what your asking mtx has a 49mm i believe and atx has 52mm? correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure thats it

Ok i have a 5 speed and i went and got a TB from a auto they to me are the same size and the auto TB didnt keep the car runnin it turned off the cable link was loose was there somethin i was supposed to do to it to make it work

The 1 G neon throttle body is the same diameter at the opening. The mtx necks down in the middle. If you car did not run, there could be a number of issues. Bad tb sensors. Vaccum leaks.


Also, clean off the inner throttle plate. There is usually a thick layer of gunk back there. Some intake manifold clean and a puddy knife. Get the inside of the intake manifold as well.

Well i know why it didnt keep running when i put the other TB on . clip that the throttle cable hooks to wasn't as thick as the TB that was originally on there, It was thinner

I'm Going to USI in Indiana for some stupid degree, but I'm switching to a local college next semester for a computer degree and then a masters, then I'll have all the moneys I need for cars

That's awesome have you considered here at UHOH.Not a recruit or anything but you should look us up like #1 in the the nation for auto. Accredited in like every category and reasonably cheap too. I'm getting my associates in auto high performance diesel and alternat fuels.The perfromance is crazy we have engine maching, dynos, fabrication, the works. Also a business school too.
