Right Captan. The neon can be made better for less. You know first hand the proce comparison of r neon cams to handa cams. Not to mention the neon is no longer made, and the RSX- type S is no easy obstacle for a neon to over come when evenly modded. N/a or Boosted, the newer cars have more and do it better. Doesn't make me wanna give up my neon, but I know the fact going in. I can probably keep up enough, for driving a $250 neon with maybe $300 of bolt ons found at the junk yard. All in good fun.

 

i love neons dont get me wrong or i wouldnt have one lol..i also own a 82 z28 that will show up 95% of the cars around me lol...i just think its funny when a honda or acura pulls up next to the camaro and reving there engines cuz all i hear is the fart cans lol..and next thing you know i am in a race with them but it really isnt much of a challenge as they cant even stay within 20 cars of my car lol..not bragging well....yah a lil but its just like the 5.0 mustangs same stuff happens but they have a chance of keeping up cuz some people now how to build there cars thats all it matters is how you build your car all show n no go or all go and no show which is what mine looks like lol..

 

i actually had someone call me a uncle ben when i put a dohc hood and aftermarket head lights on my neon the term uncle ben i find hilarius wouldnt you know its american rice ahahah silly kid with jetta that had a body kit on it

my 95 highline was riced out white &blue two toned paint sprayed crushed velvet interior two 12s and a 1000 watt amp huge wing side spoilers hood scoop stickers too i loved that car i did get followed by the cops alot inside looked like crushed velvet threwup and to beat it all spinner hubcaps

 

oh my god spinner hub caps really? lol thats a good one...so the other day i was at burger king and saw this neon that was so bad i ran outside and pointed and started laughing guy in the neon was at a red light and got so pissed and took off fart can screaming and then to beat that it was an automatic!! lmao i almost died

And from what I understand, it's only "rice" if you think a spoiler and stickers make it fast.

 

What's a uncle Ben? And I ya newer cars have a advantage. But my neon weighs in at 2189 with me in the seat and its so great when I beat anything that's a lot more expensive of a car. Its great when you see the passenger of the other car tell the driver you just got beat by a neon!
