I replaced the alternator and battery, checked all the wires,grounds etc? thinking pcm? does the P/N from a used one have to be the same?

 

it cannot be the pcm, check the wires on the fuse box!, can be cutted!

 

but the regulator id in the computer so couldnt that be the reason

 

yeah if the alternator and battery test good and your wires are in good shape then its most likely your pcm... right on any new alternator you buy for a neon it states that the voltage is regulated by the pcm... so if everything else checks out its time for a new pcm....

 

thank you, i just got the new pcm yesterday and it was the problem..
