i belive the blocks are the same i could be wrong (im not lol) but in theory you could just get the block and put on all the 1st gen stuff back on the block...you would not need any other 2nd gen parts...and with the dohc you would need the computer for your year(98) but a dohc computer...also just to note the same 2.0 was used in the stratus...a srt swap is a waist of time unless you want a srt4 engine...its not rare anymore and your probably gonna build it anyways so a regular 2.4 swap would be cheaper

also its a mattdog adapter...witch wasnt being made anymore when i was turboing mine...all motor is not a bad idea...the accel is off the hook lol...but imo it costs alot more for a all motor 4 banger then a turboed 4 banger

Factor in repairs, tuning, and the cost of ms. Boost can be quite costly. I built a mid 14 sec neon with $150. Not like the old days. Neon parts are pretty easy to come by, when you know where to look. The cost of a turbo, clutch, and tuning, I could build a decently quick n/a neon. All in what you want.
