yes but you will need to change the computer and i believe the dash...brain fart but speed/odometer thing lol...(sound like such a tard) and as far as trans idk if the bell housings need to be changed or not

 

the guy here in nc that has the motor for sale said his computer program matched it up and that it would be a direct bolt in thatnk you though will the dohc 2.0 topend go on this motor im trying to build aq budget turbo neon

 

yes a DOHC top end will fit...and it will be a direct fit but im saying you will need the 01 computer but if you make it a DOHC..im not sure what computer you would need

you shouldnt use one of those if your going to go turbo

 

will it be worth it to get one if i build up the motor and just go all motor

 

honestly your best bet is srt-4 swap...takes more work...its a 2.4 so you need the mounting adapter which is no biggy..modern has it...as far as an all motor..idk check around with the 2gn guys or maybe someone else can chime in..not to sure about the 2gn motors

 

thanks alot dude i would get a 1g dohc motor but i figure the price and the low milage i couldnt pass it up

 

you can boost a sohc though you need a maddog adapter..i think they are called which adapts a sohc to a dohc style turbo manifold..
