yeah most of the time if you replace the timing belt you should replace the tensioner and whatever else the only reason i didn't when i got my neon is cause when i changed the timing belt last the belt was taken out by a new water pump that failed.... everything with the timing belt was changed when the new water pump was replaced the first time.... then the water pump failed and tore the belt.... so i just threw a new belt in and a new water pump and all is good... next time i change the belt i'm switching to the mechanical tensioner from the hydralic setup....
