Default head swap

Hello,

can I swap the head off a single cam and put it on a twin cam block?

yes you can.. make sure you have all the manifolds and such to go with it... matter of fat keep the dohc ecu to and go with a header and intake right away.. with a sohc head on a dohc bottom end your looking at about 10-1 compression.

Here are your stock sohc cam shaft specs.

Here are sohc crane cam specs.

The 2001 magnum cam has more lift than the preceding magnum cams. The stock 2002-2004 magnum cam has the same lift as the crane #10 came, but the crane #10 has greater duration. The crane #10 is closer in performance to the magnum cams than the crane #12, which out shines them all.

yes.. but it would be lower compression then even a sohc.. to the tune of 9.3-1 or somthing like that.... if your gonna turbo it then it would be great.. other wise your gonna want to do pistons too.
