anything can be done. How you do it is up to your mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills. I put 4 wheel disc brakes on a 1985 shelby charger. I used front rotors and calipers on the rear, built my own mounting brackets and used 2 adjustable proportioning valves to balance the brakes. I'll bet it would even be easier to do a neon since there already is rear disc brakes all you'd need to overcome is the 4 bolt rotor which a quality tech could easily solve that issue... or why not just convert the car to 5 bolt?

I dont think there were 4 wheel disks available in the early 4 bolts at all. The only car that may have had it would have been the ACR and by that point, they had already switched to the 5-bolt pattern.

As far as fabbing something up, you'd be better off just converting to 5-bolt all together. The parts are easily available and for not that much money.

well thats the only problem i scored these 17s with brand new tires 205/40s the right one for the neon so i want to keep my 4 lug i was thinking if i eliminate the drums and mount the rotor then make a mountin bracket put the caliper where it needs to be on the rotor and the weld the bracket. ive seen it done a 100 times on ford 9incch rearends

so you are 'thinking' of doing what I actually DID? But how to you plan to accomidate for a parking brake? Cool you got some tuner wheels... I suppose that'll help you get laid. Now all you need is a big flipping aluminum wing on the back.

You converted a 4lug neon to rear disc? Pics?

What fabrication was done for the parking brake on the charger?

IIRC, I think the early 95 ACR had 4 lug disc brakes. So you would have to find one of those to take use the parts you would need.
