hi guys, well i need some ifno about the dohc cams, i installed a 2.4l on my neon, but the engine its froms a stratus, so i wanna install the 2.0 dohc cams on my 2.4l, cuz this cams are hotters, what i need to do for swap the cams?

 

Just use the 2.0 cams. The 2.4 head is the "same" as the 2.0 head. The biggest difference is the block.

 

yeah i know that, ok das2123, i used the 2.0 cam, and bro the car start but iunno how to say, failing a lot!, its like to much fuel, the car barely got idle, and still need to acelerate the engine, and do not pass the 4500rpm, i smell a lot fuel... what else i need to do? play with the cam degrees? cam sensor?

 

Did you rotate the cam magnet 90°? You have to do that in order to get the timing correct. Your 2.4 crank signal is 180 crank degrees or 90 cam degrees off from your 2.0's crank signal.
