Default Questions about the timing belt

My car has 93k and i dont know if it ever had its timing belt replaced. Firstly, where is it? And is there a way to tell if its a recent belt or an old one?

Thanks

it is on the passenger side behind the plastic shield. to change it you will have to remove the Motor mount alt. and PS belts. and a few plastic pieces. http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u...t-neon-009.jpg this is a pic of a DOHC the SOHC will only have a single gear at the top. and in your case your car is a right hand drive so it may very well be on the driver side. Not sure how your engine bay setup is diffrent from that of the left hand drive. http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u...t-neon-009.jpg
