1st and 2nd gen tranny swap

I am just wondering if a tranny from a 01 sohc neon will bolt to a 95 sohc block? Need to know before i buy a tranny and find out the hard way that it don't fit. Thanks

Yes it will bolt up. The bell housing are different, so you will have to swap then to make it work correctly.

As mentioned, you will have to swap bellhousings as the 01+ transmissions are hydraulic. The 95-00 transmissions are cable.
