Code 11, OBD questions
Long Time, no post
Anyway, had a nasty stall in reverse backing out the driveway half-awake and now the computer is throwing out code 11. Anybody have any imput on what it most likely would be, or had the same expeirience? Check engine light is driving me nuts. P.S. are 95 neons OBDII, I know some mitsubishis were 95/96 before the official requirement date in 97, my scantool is with my buddy who's using my other car, so I cant give it the old "does this fit" test Any help always appreciated.
Cheers-

Make sure the scantool reads the ISO protocol for OBD-2.
All Neons are OBD-2 (including the early release models in 1994), check the emissions information sticker under the hood, it says so right there. They are also listed on the EPA website as OBD-2, with the 1995 models listed as "not fully compliant".
OBD-2 compliance was required for all 1996-up cars sold in the U.S. A lot of people misinterperet that to mean there's no such thing as a 1995 OBD-2 car, which is incorrect...
Best of luck!
