Default Clock Spring

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement clock spring other than junk yards?

I'm in the middle of doing a cruise control conversion and bought a used clock spring with all the necessary wiring for cruise. I installed the clock spring last week and my horn worked and there were no air bag issues so it seemed everything was good.

I've been having issues with getting the cruise to work and then noticed yesterday my horn wasn't working either now. I bypassed the clock spring at the plug and verified that my horn works properly. I also have the necessary voltages at that plug for the horn and cruise control. So my bet is on the clock spring.

Know where I can get one?

I hate to even know what the dealer would want for it.

There might be one more car at the u-pull I go to that has cruise, if I can't get it there I'm gonna be pretty much out of luck. None of the other yards list them.

Yeah, let me know, if I can't find one here I'd definately be interested in it. Thanks.

The yard I go to had one left. It was from a '95, so I had to splice in my connector for the horn, but other than that there's no difference. I took my other one off and sure enough with a meter there was no continuity through the clock spring so for some reason it decided to go bad not long after I installed it.

On a good note, my self installed cruise control works like a charm now...I think I paid about $20 for all of the parts. It did suck that my car wasn't prewired for it at all...
