My fog lamp on the passenger side....it burnt out...Changed the bulb....still no light....i checked the bulb that i though was burnt..and it looks fine....what can i check....ive checked the wire that goes from the fog lamp to another box seems ok.....what can i do????
Didnt get the chace to check the fuses yet will do that tonight....Also checked withvolt meter....no power...but if fuse is out = no power...ill check tonight
can you trace the wires through to see if there's a faulty connection anywhere? I mean like...past the box...or maybe there's a loose wire there...look for a possible loose ground, cause that would cause it probably...not sure what else...
This may sound stoopid but most chryslers need the wierd grease at the end of their bulbs in my sundances front lights with the metal capped bulb it required grease. I never looked at my foglights on my old R/t to be able to tell you if that is the case on these. And One short in a light on a certain side can cause it not to work on the other side. Or at least thats how it worked on my old car. Never had a problem w/ it on the neon. Just on my sundance so dont quote me on this.
Ill trace the wiring this weekend...check the grounds...i have the haynes manual with wireing diagram...ill check it out.....i have already check the easywireing...that is visible nothing wrong...ill check the rest....
This exact problem happened to me about 4 weeks ago. I checked all the wiring the same as you, it
turned out to be a build up of rust in the connector. I cleaned it out and havent had a problem since.
Good Luck.
