starts and everthing workz ,but won't shift from park..Help..
I have a 1996 dodge neon auto....drove fine put it in park shut it off..turned it on to listen to music and turned it back off..Now it starts but won't set into gear..shifter shifts but won't catch a gear what do I do...?...please say therez sumthin I can do...help me pleazzzzzze

Check your linkage under the battery box on top the trans. could have popped off or bushing shot maybe. or the cable might have broke. check on top the trans to see if the cable is moving with the shifter.
