Default ECM going bad? what to look for?
What will the ECM do when it goes bad?
Also if I find one that isnt the same number but the car is the same year, motor and transmission will it work?

yes for the most part the ECU is interchangable. i think some of the years are diffrent though. as long as you go DOHC to DOHC and SOHC to SOHC and MTX and ATX are the same.
