Hello,

I am trying to sell an old 97 neon SOHC but the battery is 100% dead. I have a Kia sportage with a good battery.

My questions is can I use the battery from that to start the Neon just to show people that it does start? The Neon batter is a 690 and the kia is a 640amp. I dont want this for driving , not even a test drive for the buyer cause the neon needs work (and they will know that) I just want to show them that the car starts.

The reason is I dont want to spend 60-100+ on a new battery to TRY and sell the car.

If any one can lend me a hand here that would be GREAT.

Also if any one is in AZ and wants to buy it let me know.

So would this work or is it pointless to even try or would ruin my Kia battery to use it for a few start ups in my Neon?
