Okay, I currently own 1996 plymouth Neon. It was a nice car until a month or so ago when my car just died. I didn't know what caused it, until I noticed the small fire that had occurred under my fuse box. The ground strap had been burnt through. I mean I knew my reverse lamps didn't work and my blinker on the driver side front always acted as if it were blown right after replacing the bulb. So I was going to trash the car until I got an idea. Buying a newer body('97-'99) and just use my car as a parts car.
I found a '99 Neon, it doesnt have an engine, but the guy said it was a DOHC. However I think it's a style edition. I'm waiting on the pictures. But will my '96 SOHC engine fit in the '99 Neon that has DOHC set up? Please let me know ASAP!
Thanks so much!

yeah the computers are plug and play the difference is in the tune mostly timing and fuel your sohc will run a little rich with the dohc computer but wonderful for a decent n/a build also works in reverse put a sohc computer in your boosted dohc and it will pull less timing=better for a boosted car
