look in a plymouth sport 2 dr coop, also look for 2 muffler tips (a dead giveaway) look for r/ts or just order one online might even be cheaper. You can also use 2.4 litre DOHC motors as well it bolts up just fine and works well.

some. with the neon, the only "for sure" model that came with the dohc, is the R/T.

so the 2.4 from a stratus is a direct bolt up? I have a 2.0 DOHC in my car now. I was gonna boost but not sure yet. Anyone know for sure?

Not sure about the stratus cuz they prolly have intake in back and header up front but the 2.4 litre gen 2 NEONs have direct bolt up.

eh, the intake is still in the front and exhaust in the rear, just like in the neon.
however, you cannot use the stratus intake manifold in the neon.. you have to use the 2.0 dohc neon intake manifold.

while for the most part, the 2.4 swap is "bolt in" .. there are some things that need to be modified for it to get in, and get running. a couple wiring modifications.. modifications to the mount(s)... but mostly yeah, it bolts in.

No 2.4 will be a direct bolt in for a 1st gen. You need to get an adapter for the pass. side motor mount, and do some drilling to the front motor mount. Check .org for the complete list.
