Default Cluster Problems...

I just installed a reverse glow face on my cluster For my 97' 1st Gen Neon ... but now ive encountered a few problems.

1) all my needles are dead... an i dont know how to restart them to get them working again.

2) i think it may be an electrical issue, but what do you think could be the cause for when i press the brake, the left blinker comes on.

I think whatever wires you spliced into did not like what you did.

Well, the blinker issue was figured out... when you flip the blinker it sticks sumtimes...

but theres still the issue of getting the gauges to work correctly... do i have to manualy adjust them, for example: when i fill the gas tank turn the dial all the way up, an follow some one down the road an if there going 20 adjust the spedometer to twenty?

well the issue I had with the glow guages was the film that was in place would rub on the needles. otherwise i would check out the how to: resoldering the pins on the back of the board.

yes this process takes a few attemts first you will have to insert the cluster without the clear lens on there start the car and let it warm up, set the temp needle just under half way the tach at 1000 rpm and the fuel where you last remember it or top off the tank and set needle to full. MPH is a bit tricky, when I did mine i let it idle and cruse down the steet and set the needle to 10 mph, this was for an ATX transmission. for an MTX trans I would ride in 3rd gear and set at 15 MPH
