Rear Bumper falling off?
Hi,
I have a 1996 Dodge neon sport, I have been driving this car for about 2-1/2 years now and it has been quite reliable, I've put about 12,000 miles on it bringing it to a total of 80,000 miles. The body is in pretty good shape and there are just minor exterior flaws. Recently the rear bumper has began to fall off, starting from the driver side to around the center of the rear. Is there any way to reapply the bumper, or do I need to buy a new bumper?
Thanks,
Kendall

If you are referring to the plastic bumper cover, you can replace the screws if the holes are not busted out, but if they are, you have three options, 1) buy a new one, 2) buy a good used one, or 3) make new holes with new screws, and keep using the old one.
on the driver side in the fender well there are some torx screws you can remove. when you remove the few screws a black plastic piece may fall. take that black plastic piece and put it back on the 2 mounting squares on the body of the car. then you can push the bumper back into place and replace the screws. No new parts are nesassary.
