Can someone point me to some directions on removing the window regulator off of the front drivers door? The window on my gf's car no longer goes down, and after pulling the door panel off, it appears the gear on the window regulator (connected to the window crank) refuses to move/is stuck. I want to remove the window regulator to either replace it or try to fix it. Some information from a haynes manual would be of great help, thanks.

 

Are you sure it's the regulator and not the switch?

 

Sorry, forgot to mention, it's a manual window. So there is no switch.

That curved moon-looking gear at the top right is what refuses to budge, thus not letting the window up and down.
