Default 2.4 swap question

I am in the process of putting the motor together and have just a couple of questions.

Will the front and back timing cover from my DOHC still work?

Do I need both alternator brackets from the PT cruiser, or just one?

I am sure I will come up with more questions as I go, thanks in advance for any input.

you dont need to replace the water pump outlet if you use a shorty intake and you get better top end to balance out te extra lowend from the 2.4 do yourself a favor and get a 2.0 exhaust cam might as well do it right the first time do you have an external FPR if so youll need one of them from a 2000 and up neon (unless you used bigger injectors)

Just use both alternator bracket. It's as though they are rare and expensive.

The timing belt cover from a 2.0L will not work on a 2.4L.

I pretty much have the engine put back together, working on it slowly when I have time, getting ready to drop it in the car. I have the 2.4 bracket adapter from modern performance, do I also need the 2.4 motor mount for the passenger side or will the 2.0 work? Thanks for you help

you can just use the 2.4 adapter on the 2.0 mount and you ll have to cut the front motor mount to clear the oil pan its easier to do before you put it in
