i bought a head for my 98 plymouth neon i am having it put in time but i believe it is for a 2.4 what do i need to do to make the 2.4 head work on my 2.0? i know it bolts up and everything is pretty much the same but it dont seem to go in time right? what needs to be done to get it in time?

 

Reverse the magnets on the cam (If, your doing what I think your doing.) 180 Degrees.

 

What model year vehicle is the 2.4L head from?

Asking as the oil drain came in varying size in 2000 - 2001 production.

2001+ cylinder head had a different intake manifold bolt pattern.
